Practice Owner: Dr Michael K Doyle

Dr Doyle is one of the senior partners of the Northern Suburbs Veterinary Hospitals and has been practicing at the Greensborough Vet Hospital since 1991. Dr Michael graduated with honors from the University of Melbourne in 1982 and has gained further qualifications in small animal medicine, surgery and radiology by completing: a membership with the Australian College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1999; a Masters of Veterinary Studies in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery in 2005; and becoming Penn Hip Certified in 2006.

Dr Michael's interests outside work include renovating, traveling and cooking.



Practice Owner: Dr Ian Maycock

Dr Maycock spent the first seventeen years of his life in the U.K. living in Surrey and going to boarding school in Edinburgh at George Watson's College. He came to Australia with his family in 1961 where they lived in Montmorency.

After completing his Veterinary degree at Melbourne University in 1968 first job was in Papua New Guinea before returning the Northern Suburbs.

Outside veterinary practise he interests are travel, sport watching, especially the Carlton Football Club and horse racing, as well as classical music and opera, keeping fit, lifting weights. He is also well and truly kept busy with two grandchildren, Rupert and Amelia, to say nothing of Charlie the long haired Dachshund. He also enjoys going out on the bay in his yacht.



Dr Rachel Mc Cue

Dr Rachel graduated with honors from the University of Melbourne in 1998. She joined the practice soon afterwards and has become an integral part of the Greensborough Vet Hospital.  In 2004 Dr Rachel spent 12 months gaining experience by working in England.

Outside of work Rachel leads a busy life with her two children Will and Hanna, as well as spending a lot of time with Maisy the Jack Russell keeping active and fit. Rachel always has an ear out for the latest sporting news and an eye out for chocolate.



Dr Srdan Savic

Dr Srdan joined our staff in 2008 after emigrating from Croatia to Melbourne. He graduated from the University of Zagreb in Croatia in 2000 before working in Zagreb for 7 years. Since immigrating to Australia Srdan has settled into the routine.

In his spare time Srdan enjoys music, movies, computers and cooking.



Dr Andrew Telford

Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from University of Queensland in 1994 and joined Greensborough three months ago. Having worked previously at Elgar Road Veterinary Hospital for eight years, he made the move to Greensborough. Andrew's special interests are in surgery.

When not at work Andrew's has a busy life with his wife Megan raising their two young girls at home Madeleine and Phoebe. His spare time is also involved in renovating old and antique hand tools.



Dr Cara McNally

Originally from Perth where she graduated from Murdoch University in 2004, Dr Cara has recently moved to Melbourne to join the team at the Greensborough Veterinary Hospital. She has spent the last 3 years working in our nation's capital at the Kippax Veterinary Hospital.

Cara loves Cats and has two of her own, Bailey and Mina. She adopted them from the vet hospital in Canberra where they were unwanted waifs, but they have now grown into sizable monsters that cause a lot of mischief and mayhem at home. Her main veterinary interests are in dermatology, emergency, canine and feline medicine. She claims to have a weakness for coffee and baking and often bakes goodies for the staff.



Dr Claire Jenkins

Dr Claire joined the team in 2009 and has become a very welcomed addition. Her professional interest is in feline and canine internal medicine and she is extending her knowledge and qualifications with a post graduate membership in these areas. Dr Claire came to the Greensborough Veterinary Hospital after extensive experience in Sydney and abroad in the UK.

Not content to rest on her laurels, Dr Claire is also active outside of work with her friends, family and favourite dog Red the Kelpie.



Dr Alex Kay

Dr Alex graduated in 2009 from the University of Melbourne and joined the Greensborough Vet Hospital soon afterwards. She has become a valued part of the team and has quickly put her newly acquired knowledge to a wide variety of difficult cases. Dr Alex has a large standard poodle called Max who is the centre of her world.
