Practice Manager: Nicole Green

Nicole's interests are in breeding and showing her Malamute dogs. She now has 12 Alaskan Malamutes, but Grace is the special inside dog who likes to adopt Lucy, one of her cats, when she is having a phantom pregnancy every 6 months. Nicole has 2 cats, 4 horses and 5 Geese and enjoys snow skiing, cycling, hiking with her dogs.
Ann Bassini
Ann is our Receptionist at the Rosanna Veterinary Clinic. She joined the team in 2005 after spending many years as a teacher's aide in schools in South East Queensland. She holds a Certificate IV in Education.
Outside work she is busying helping out with her family and looking after Ruby her Jack Russell and Sharon the domestic shorthaired cat.
Practice Manager: Mandy Carter
Mandy has held the reigns as joint Practice Manager at the Northern Animal Hospitals for some time. She has been with the practice for dealing with the incidental jobs that need doing when maintaining a practice.
Away from work Mandy finds time for tennis and waterskiing as well as running a busy family schedule.
Receptionist: Tricia Equid
Our Receptionist is one of the first faces you will meet or speak to when you visit the Greensborough Veterinary Hospital. Tricia has been part of our team at Greensborough for 5 years now after spending many years in office administration.
Her experience is allowing her to excel in her meet and greet role as she deals with many clients with varying needs from cuddly puppies to aged euthanasia's. Tricia can deal with this with compassion and tries to make families feel at ease.
During her spare time she enjoys travelling with her group of friends that are celebrating milestones at the moment. Along with this travel goes much socialising. Her other outlet is exercising the family pets, Zac the Kelpie x and Joey the black Lab. with morning walks trying to wear them out, but we know that Trish is always last up the driveway!
Tricia is available on reception at Greensborough on Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Kelly Boyd
Kelly became part of the team in 2002 and quickly became a very valued member of the team. She has special interests in feline behaviour, pathology and animal welfare. Kelly combined her nursing with further studies in 2011 by completing the Animal and Veterinary Biosciences degree at La Trobe University.
Kelly is involved in orphaned kitten rearing and is interested in reading, music and sculpture.
Marty Wichtmann
Martin joined the Greensborough Veterinary Hospital in June 2006 with a Certificate 3 in Animal Technology. By 2008 Marty had completed his certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing excelling in his subjects and becoming a major asset to our hospital.
Marty is not often seen by our clients as he specialises in Pathology, Radiology and Anaesthetics. He is responsible for the efficient running of these areas within our hospital. He also deals with the recovery of the majority of our surgical cases and excels in what he does.
Outside of work Marty enjoys photography and filming and has a large social network of friends. At home they recently had additions to their family with their Chihuahua litter of Jacinta and Hoinke.
Marty's experience and the way he applies himself to provide the highest standard of care to our patients is outstanding. He is very reliable and it is unheard of for him to have a sick day. All we can ask is that he shares the meals his Mum provides for him each day. Well Done Marty! Clients can request Marty as their Nurse for their animal when making a surgery appointment. He is available full time at the Greensborough Veterinary Hospital.
Sarah-Ellen Geaney
Sarah-Ellen joined the Greensborough Veterinary Hospital team in 2009. Sarah grew up on the central coast of Queensland and originally worked within the family real estate company for 5 years. During this time she was recognised for many awards within the industry.
Sarah then spent 2 years abroad on a working holiday around Europe. She travelled extensively, tending Bar as she went, meeting many varied people and making new friends. She then decided Melbourne was to be her base in Australia and soon after this she made contact with us.
In 2009 Sarah began her nursing course at Box Hill Tate and has applied herself achieving great results. At home Sarah enjoys playing with her rabbits that are house trained and full of fun. She has adopted a new stray into her family, 'Alfie' the chocolate Labrador who has been fairly well behaved.
Sarah also runs Puppy School at Greensborough one night per week. This gives owners an insight into basic training, raising and maintenance of puppies. Sarah is also available at Greensborough on weekends. Pop in for puppy advice at any time.
Dominique Caccavella
Dominique joined the Northern Suburbs Veterinary Hospital in 2008 and has added to her duties by undertaking the Veterinary Nurse Certificate Course in 2009. Dominique spends Wednesdays and Fridays at our Rosanna Clinic adding a 'spark' to the clinic and the rest of her week at the Greensborough Veterinary Hospital. She likes movies, Roller- blading and putting on her gumboots on sunny days.
Dominique has a rapidly growing family that includes Buddy, Bentley and Porscher the dogs.
Nichola Healey
Nichola grew up in the U.K. and came to Australia with her husband in 2009. It was then she followed her passion of animal care and began working as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse at Brighton Veterinary Hospital. After spending 18 months there Nichola and David decided to move to the northern side of town thus bringing her to the Greensborough Veterinary Hospital.
Nichola's experience in surgery preparation and monitoring is outstanding and the care she shows with recovering patients is what we are most grateful for. Nichola has partially completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through AIRC in Queensland.
Outside of the clinic Nichola likes to spend time reading, mostly crime fiction by authors such as Lee Child and also exercising her 3 year old Shepherd cross, Sam who is a bundle of energy. Recently Sam tried his talents herding sheep, which will take a bit more practice. It is much easier controlling the two cats in the home, Miss Kitty and Junior.
Bree Morley
Bree joined the staff at Greensborough Veterinary Hospital after spending two years working in a boarding kennel and cattery. She also spent a lot of her time grooming dogs at home. Furthering her interest veterinary nursing Bree will undertake the Certificate IV level at the Box Hill Institute in 2011. This is one of the highest levels of veterinary nursing qualifications in Australia. Outside of her duties at the veterinary hospital, Bree is a swimmer who enjoys travelling and dining out with friends.
Tracey Collins
One of the first faces you meet upon entering the Greensborough Veterinary Hospital is Tracey Collins our Receptionist.
Tracey joined our team in August 2010. She came to us with a wealth of experience in office and reception management. We put this to the test during our busy periods and found that Tracey has the ability to ensure our waiting area is running smoothly by ensuring consultations are running on time, answering phone calls and keeping all staff up to date with client communications.
Through staff training Tracey has a sound knowledge on heartworm and flea prevention along with dietary/food advice. Tracey is responsible for the maintenance of our Professional food range and keeping up to date with the availability of prescription diets.
In her own time Tracey is pampering the new members of the family her two Staffordshire's Bam Bam and Roxy who she recently had desexed. The girls are making life playful for Pippin the Bengal and Bronte all sharing her time. Outside of home, when not looking after the two and four legged family members, Tracey enjoys going to the cinema to keep up with the latest action movies and occasionally going for a weekend drive.
Tracey is available most weekdays and Saturdays for help or advice with food, merchandising and preventative products.
