Nurse: Breannan Warren

Congratulations to Breannan Warren, known as Bree to us, who has just celebrated her first year with our hospital.  Bree grew up and was educated in the Eltham area, so knows many clients that come in to visit us.

Bree’s great love is her horses and volunteering on a regular basis at the ‘Riding for the Disabled’ (RDA) in Viewbank.  She gets amazing gratification in seeing the adults and children riding and the confidence this gives them outside of their normal routine.  She has also been accredited with Level 1 coaching which she puts into practice at the RDA.  She was also volunteer of the year 2016.

An important member of Bree’s family at home is Brandy, the10 year old Spaniel X. We have Brandy visit us occasionally at work for her pamper session of grooming.  Brandy does look at this like a play date and becomes very fidgety on the grooming table.  She has also had a dental procedure recently which many spaniels of her age require.  Bree is also the proud owner of a new member of her family – ‘Henry” a 6 year old Chestnut Thoroughbred with 3 white socks and a blaze.

At work, Bree never seems to have a ‘down’ day.  She always has a bright outlook, is cheery and completes even the worst tasks with great endeavour and comes up smiling. It is pleasant to have someone that enjoys their role so much and is appreciative for the environment that they work in.

Bree is commencing the second year of her nursing certificate and is beginning to realise how much she has learnt in a short period.  Bree shares her time between our Greensborough and Rosanna Clinics on a full time basis.
