In October, Scrunchy, the ginger coloured chicken was bought in for treatment.  Scrunchy is a 12 month old chicken who belongs to the Bulenda family of Greensborough.

Scrunchy was lame in the right leg after being chased by the dog about a week ago.  Due to the size of Scrunchy’s leg, she was x-rayed with our dental x-ray machine.  The x-rays confirmed she had a fracture.

Lili is an 11½ year old, lilac coloured, Oirental.  Over the years her mouth had deteriorated and now there was excess salivation and her teel were causing her discomfort.  It was time to take a more advanced approach.

Cassie is a 9 ½ year old Jack Russell belonging to the Nixon family of Macleod.  Cassie was presented at Greensborough in August with inappetence and vomiting.  At the time of the initial consultation, it was noted during the physical examination that Cassie’s abdomen was distended.  After a poor response to antibiotics, a blood profile was taken.  These results showed some abnormalities, so with the owner’s consent, an abdominal ultrasound was ordered.  This showed that Cassie’s gall bladder was fully distended along with a mass near the stomach.

Patch would be the luckiest Guinea Pig about at the moment. Patch and her mate were adopted by the Tripp family of Viewbank from a farm, they are approximately 5 months of age.

The luckiest Pug in the world, or Greensborough, would have to be 11 year Pablo. Back in June, Pablo was attacked by another dog, through the fence of his home and suffered major injuries.
